In our kayaking package with a guide you can enjoy nature up close. You start your stay by checking in to your cabin at 1 pm. When you have dropped off your luggage and settled into the cabin, a kayak tour with a guide in Lake Vänern and the beautiful Tösse archipelago awaits you at 2 pm. The archipelago consists of about 30 small and large islands and is therefore the largest Lake Vänern archipelago in Dalsland. The nature is varied with bare skerries and forested islands.
When you return to the cottage village at around 6 pm, ready-made food awaits you to enjoy on the beach, on one of the cliffs or, in case of rain, in your cottage in front of a roaring fire. Full and satisfied, you are welcome to relax for a while in our sauna or the hot tub next to the beach. After a good night's sleep, breakfast awaits you in the cottage. You can check out by 11 am at the latest after a day of new experiences and relaxation.

Beginner Kayaking Package – Available Thursday-Friday
The paddle tour starts from the idyllic Rolfskärr holiday village directly on the shore of Lake Vänern, a little south of Tösse harbour. Together we carry the kayaks a few metres down to the beach and get to know the kayak, paddle and other equipment. We go through simple paddling techniques and test paddle for a while by the beach until everyone feels confident to set off. Then we paddle at a leisurely pace through the archipelago. The route is determined by wind and weather, but there is always a lot to discover and a magical landscape that offers beautiful views. We make a beach break and enjoy a simple but tasty homemade fika. If you want to take a swim, just jump in the water.
No previous experience is required.
The tour itself takes about 2.5 hours including coffee, the introduction about 1 hour.
Available for booking every Thursday from May 22nd to September 18th, 2025.
Experienced Kayaking Package – Available Saturday-Sunday
The paddle tour starts from the idyllic Rolfskärr holiday village directly on the shore of Lake Vänern, a little south of Tösse harbour. Together we carry the kayaks a few metres down to the beach and familiarise ourselves with the kayak, paddle and other equipment. Then we paddle at a leisurely pace through the archipelago. The route is determined by wind and weather, but there is always much to discover and a magical landscape that offers beautiful views. We make a beach break and enjoy a simple but tasty homemade coffee. If you want to take a dip, just jump in to the water.
Level equivalent to green paddle pass/Green Euro Paddle Pass
The tour itself takes approximately 3.5 hours including time for fika.
Available for booking every other Saturday from May 31 until September 20, 2025.

The tours includes a guide, kayak and all other paddle equipment, homemade buns and drinks (coffee/tea/juice).
The tours are aimed at adults (> 15 years) and all kayaks are single-person kayaks. All participants must be able to swim and be able to swim 200m. Group size max 6 participants.
NOTE: The tour is always adjusted to the prevailing weather and wind direction. In case of strong winds or thunderstorms, the tour may need to be cancelled or replaced with a tour in Forsnäsån with 5 hours notice. If the tour is cancelled by the organizer, 3000:- SEK will be refunded.
